• Retired social worker at Harborview Medical Center, Sharon Thayer, volunteer and one of the original members of UW Medicine Comfort Care Quilts received the UW-UWRA Distinguished Retiree Award and was featured in the University of Washington Magazine
• Dr. Eileen Bulger, a surgeon in the Division of Trauma, Burn, and Critical Care Surgery at the UW, and chief of surgery at Harborview Medical Center was featured in an American College of Surgeons Bulletin highlighting the impact of art on medical care
